For watching films with subtitles on your PC or Mac, you’ll need a video player that supports external subtitle files, such as:
To make the subtitles load automatically, place the subtitle file in the same folder as the movie and rename it to match the video filename.
For example, if your video is named “movie.mp4”, then your subtitle file must be named “movie.srt”.
After that, simply open the movie in your preferred video player and enjoy!
Tip: If you want to watch a movie with two subtitle tracks (and switch between them in your video player), rename the subtitle files like this:
