This film marked Nakajima’s sole collaboration with the Art Theatre Guild (ATG), a company renowned for supporting avant-garde and experimental cinema in Japan.
The soundtrack features tracks from the pre-punk band Brain Police, including the song “Don’t Fuck Around With Me,” which underscores the film’s rebellious tone and aligns with its critique of societal norms.
